The year 2010 is a historic one for both Mexicans and Argentineans, since we will both be celebrating the Bicentennial of National Independence in our respective countries. This occasion is a great opportunity to examine our history through cinema, which is why we have chosen "Liberty" as our theme, in an effort to understand its significance in this age and above all, though the imagination of our young creators.
As part of this celebration, special activities will include:
* Book Publication: "Un cine en libertad"
* Special Screenings of Mexican and Argentine films
* Conferences and Master Classes
* Art Installation
* Collegiate Documentary Competition "Identity and Belonging"
* 48 Hour Collegiate Production Rally with the theme of "Liberty"
